Building on Foundations
Building on Foundations
This week we continued production of our game with a lot of framework to take the game ever closer to its completion.
Last week we had only one room almost entirely mechanically ready, as well as art complete, however we now have all four rooms mostly mechanically ready and art complete!
The work doesn't stop there though, despite the large amount of progress, there's still much to be done.
Currently, the features still needed to implement are the main menu, opening and closing cutscenes, dialogue, move names, Xiang's mechanics, health + other sequence rewards/punishments, and of course, sound effects. Lots to do, so let's get on with it!
To celebrate the implementation of these rooms, here's a video showing gameplay of the first room, which you've only seen glimpses of up until now.
This is what we used to playtest, and you can finally see what it looks like for yourself. Upgrades to come, and the remaining rooms will be hidden for now! 😉
With these new details, we hope your excitement continues to grow for the full game's release in a few weeks! All of us here at The Mishir Corporation cannot wait, and it's been a one-of-a-kind experience building this game from the ground up with the help of our contractors, Ross Popovs and Jake Read. We hope this insight into the current state of the game is interesting, and we hope you stick around for the release!
Thank you from all of us at The Mishir Corporation!
